Liposuction: Gross in the short term, unhealthy in the long term

Interesting evidence that liposuction isn't medically benign. A new study in Nature found that suctioning fat off the thighs and butt tended to result in patients later accumulating fat around their midsections—exactly where you don't want excess fat, if you're worried about heart health.
