It's been a long and wrenching 10 days watching the catastrophes unfold in Japan.We wanted to do something to quickly and directly support the people affected by these disasters. I sat down last week and quickly sketched up a concept for a poster. Wednesday and I here worked on the design and then I reached out to our SoMa neighbor Hello!Lucky – a fantastic letterpress custom stationer – to create a unique letterpress print.
The print – titled "Japand-Aid" – is a 15" x 20" three-color letterpress poster.
Hand numbered and signed by the staff who worked on it at GAMA-GO and Hello!Lucky; this poster is a limited edition of 50 priced at $50 a piece.
GAMA-GO and Hello!Lucky are covering all of the costs of the poster and its distribution. This means that 100% of every donation will go directly and immediately to the Japan Red Cross.
