OK Go free show at Hammer Museum in LA tonight (March 23, 2010)

Flux Ok Go

Sorry for the last minute notice, but our pals in OK Go are playing a free show at the Hammer Museum tonight.

Flux kicks off spring and the third annual season of the Flux Screening Series with a magical night of short film, videos and live performance. Among the highlights are new videos from Massive Attack, Air, OK Go and the Liars introduced by the directors who made them, as well as rarely seen work from Denmark, Japan, France and the UK.

The program includes Saman Keshavarz's Luv Deluxe video which just won Best Music Video at the 2010 SXSW Film Festival. Also featured will be the innovative new video by L'Ogre for Hold Your Horses song "70 Million", in which bandmembers bring to life art masterpieces by Michelangelo, Kahlo, Mondrian, Warhol, Caravaggio, Van Gogh and others.

The evening will culminate with a very special live acoustic performance by OK Go in the Hammer Courtyard.

Filmmakers in attendance:

The creative team behind the epic Rube Goldberg Machine video "This Too Shall Pass" – OK Go, Synn Labs and and filmmaker James Frost (Radiohead, Coldplay).

Paris-based director Edouard Salier (Massive Attack, Air)
