Unicorn Samurai Chaser

By Xeni Jardin at 12:09 PM January 8, 2010

Here's a video of a fellow dressed as a unicorn, posing as a sword-wielding samurai. I don't know that I would like to be chased by him. (thanks, Jeff)

But you are not ruling it out?

Um, I think I need a chaser for this chaser, and I'm not even sure what it's chasing. I guess it's the shipping out of the homeless, which it pretty terrible, but I've seen that before. Atlanta did the same thing in 1996 when I was living there.

Still, this is too disturbing for words.

... I think this unicorn video needs a unicorn chaser, stat.

I think that a furry with a sword he clearly has no idea what to do with may require its own chaser.

i have just been introduced to the new king of my nightmares. wow.

I've never been so turned on, yet so disgusted at something at the same time. Thanks BB!...I guess.

........ I have no words for this.

That furry needs more fur.

This could possibly ruin all future unicorn chasers for me.

Antinous / Moderator #10 12:34 on Fri, Jan. 8 Reply

Hey! He could use that sword to cut up some wild mushrooms!

Anon #11 12:38 on Fri, Jan. 8 Reply

If that were a sword his fingers would be all over the floor.

Isn't that a unicorn/samurai collabo sneaker?

that guy freaks me out. he was featured in one of the previous somethingawful "awful vision" and it's just incredibly disturbing.

Speaking as someone in furry fandom who doesn't approve of whole swaths of it (yes, there's still hope for some of us), I disapprove of how creepy this is. And I laugh at the wobbly horn.

I suggest Unicorn vs. Narwhal instead for a nice cheer-up!

SamSam #16 13:32 on Fri, Jan. 8 Reply

I think that this unicorn may not realize that the purpose of a samurai sword's blade is to be very sharp, not to be gripped as hard as possible while flexing airbrushed muscles.

Then again, such misconceptions may explain the one horn.

there are a number of other videos with this fellow dressed up as different animals. just as creepy too. have a look and enjoy being freaked out.

Antinous / Moderator #18 15:53 on Fri, Jan. 8 Reply

He's in Rocknrolla as the Chechnyan guy with the bloody face who just won't die.

Anon #19 16:20 on Fri, Jan. 8 Reply

This is really odd... The wobbly horn is pretty amusing --too bad it doesn't give off humming sounds... he's gripping the wakazashi short sword wrong (hand should be just below the guard)... we need the Mike Meyers character from Sprockets in his monkey underwear or a nun in leather to make this experience more complete.

I don't get the horned obssession and its links with sexy. No way Jose... we have a goat called Goatie (yeah, I know)and once had one called Rosie. Those weird eyes are, well, weird but if you know how stubborn and greedy goats are and if you have ever tried to milk one or rescue one which got herself tangled in an electric cord and woke us all with non stop bleating... actually, it is more like a bad tempered roar... and was lying on its back , all 4 legs stiff in the air and we thought she was dead, believe me they , the horned ones are NOT sexy.

Very, very wrong.

Xeni, how would you feel about being chased by this unicorn?

Good call - but there are 5 Cremaster films already.

I cant believe that this made Boing Boing. This guy has been giving me the creep for months. More of his videos can be found on meta cafe such as this one(Be warned, MUCH more creepy imo):

http://www.metacafe.com/watch/3445658/black_stallion/

Also, I believe he's some sort of male model and so the "airbrushed muscles" are actually real.

Enjoy.

Thanks, gnp, that was pretty cool, but hardly a cheer-up.

The unicorn in the beginning has a remarkable resemblance to the red dragon from Bone.

Here he is having feline make-up applied. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dn0O3_sDXCE

Repeating comment #18, this guy is called Alex Kovas, a Russian actor/model who appeared in the Guy Ritchie's film "RocknRolla", as the Russian mercenary who "just wouldn't die".

The scary thing is... this is just one of the animals. He sells this as a "live show". Maybe for Russian oil tycoons who throw this really wild parties.

It's not my cup of tea. In my occidental world, this is proper of nightmares.

I thought that was him. A body that strange and intense is not easily forgotten or mistaken.

I'm with Sug4rFree. This guy gives me The Creep, immediately followed by The Fear, and eventually ending with The Clear Browser History. Click.

I've seen far worse things on the internet. If tame stuff like this gives people nightmares I wonder how they survive browsing the internet on a daily basis.

But I suppose it's trendy these days to yuk it up and equate "weird" with "scary". Xenophobia is the new black. Surprising (and sad) to see it becoming trendy on BoingBoing of all places.

That being said, although unicorns are awesome, I liked his zebra costume more.
