I'm super curious to know what she is listening to.
Came in to say the same thing. But even if she was listening to Mike + the Mechanics, I'd still think she's hot.
its not real art unless youre rolling around in your own excretions or making some sort of political statement.
Not gonna argue with you there. Her paintings are also quite hot.
Is it just me or the new paintings feature more backgrounds/elements (as opposed to isolated figures)? I like her minimalist style, but this is looking great as well! I wish she'd come to Montreal...
Real art is something you can hang on the wall.
Real science is something that uses microscopes and test tubes.
Real mystery is how people can be so sure about what is real art or real science.
i want to marry her.
Definitely. It's a nice transition.
Ditto.
Her work is mesmerizing. I would love to own a piece or two for my living room. Wow. Just, wow.
I'm fortunate enough to have one of the Saying Goodbye prints given it sold out in minutes. Would like She Who Dares though (swap anyone ?).
Audrey is so damn hawt right now.
Her work is redundant
Audrey darling, take a chance.
And the cat says: nice work, now quit painting and gi'me my tuna!
I like the paintings. In other news, she's hot.
I've always been curious as to what mediums she uses to paint on those boards and how she preps those panels. My guess would be that to preserve the wood look she much use thinned down oils with a treated panel...
Does anyone know for sure?
I'm with benher! I really what to know more about the medium she uses and her process. I love the paintings by the way; she seems to have found what she is good at and is honing it.
stunned. these are simply amazing. so beautiful. i love seeing the process, it's fun to see which parts are done first, and how it all comes together. swoon.
I also would like to know what she uses to do her cutting. Does she do it by hand or does she have a CnC machine she has access to?
I went to the show at the Jonathan Levine gallery, saw her exhibition and met Audrey. Very nice work, I heard all of her paintings that were for sales sold out instantly, and there was a huge line for a limited prints run.
She cuts the wood panels with a hand saw I think, and I saw her say on her journal, that her boyfriend does laser-cutting on some of the really intricately cut pieces.
