I dunno, Xen. That extra "E" looks different from the others on the sign - wider, and with a thicker stroke. Plus, the perspective looks off for that one letter. We certain this is real?

It took a couple reads of the marquee before I saw it - I guess goatse is a bit too common in my daily reading material.

I just assumed that someone climbed up there and slapped up a piece of paper with an E on it. Don't you all carry a fold-up ladder in your mobile prank kit?
Very minor evidence that it might be real:
There are numerous Es of the right size/font right in the image. Most photoshoppers would just cut & paste one of those.
Seriously, anyone but the worst photoshopper on earth would do that.

The "E" looks like it was most likely stolen from a different sign and placed there by some local miscreants, not an employee of the theater. For the record, I haven't done similar things and this is just a theory.
It's a Canadian marquee...hence the divergent ratings.
