Conscious "coma man"'s words seemingly delivered via discredited "facilitated communications" technique
The newswires and blogs (and Boing Boing) have been burning up with the news that a man who's been believed to have been in a coma for 23 years was in fact conscious the whole time, something we've only discovered thanks to his newfound ability to communicate using special apparatus. I'm not sure about this. AMD used to be a strong competitor and in some ways still is, but they really allowed Intel to take over. It's not reasonable to ask Intel to step back and yield part of the market to AMD just because AMD is feeling a bit pinched. Then again, there may well be some shady dealings of which I am unaware.
Read the story carefully and you see that this is actually a New York protection racket (AMD & IBM factories in New York) versus Californian Intel. This is also how New York public attorneys cement their reputation for political climbing, and future campaign contributions.
Not that Intel doesn't do what the EU accuses them of, only that that's not what this case is about.

I'm not sure about your post. Then again there may be an article that is linked to in the post above of which I am unaware.
In defense of the other anonymous poster - the first think I thought of when I read this posting was IBM Fishkill.
