Glad I live in the Sunset district, looks like I'll just be a block or so closer to the beach. I may have to trade in my scooter for a jet ski for commuting though.

@mikeyg: Not very far. Glaciation takes forever. Melting is fast.
The Pacific Institute published a set of maps showing the effects of sea level rise on entire California coast in early 2009. Its report, and others that make up the California Climate Change Center's biennial assessment, are probably the most comprehensive look yet at the effects of climate change on a region.
