There's nothing wrong with putting a costume on a dog *if* the dog has the right temperament. Some will put up with the costume because of the attention it gets them.
You NEVER need an excuse for gratuitous "doggies in costumes." It's a perennial favorite.
Especially if you're dressing him up as a luchador.. really, what dog wouldn't enjoy being a pro wrestler?
