My friend Dr Alan Banack is a former GP and emergency room doctor who now practices in Toronto as a clinical hypnotherapist, mostly working with performance athletes. I've written before about him -- he's the guy who helped me get over a five-year bout of writers' block in my early twenties, and hel... More.

I just registered and bought this, but it didn't offer me a download link. It's stressing me out. ;-)
Anyone figure out this horrible web site yet? Do they mail the thing to you? (It was referred to as a "download.")
Experience. The Useless. Extra. Punctuation.
"that was not the download you were looking for"
"that was not the download I was looking for"
"you are satisfied with your purchase"
"I am satisfied with my purchase"
"Browse along"
It is a bad website. After paying go to "your account"
then "order history" then "download here" THEN (i know)
you get to a page where you can download an MP3 and a pdf. And paypal didn't work for me, so had to use a credit card. I seriously hope Cory isn't under his thrall and they're just using him to enslave the rest of us.
Just to clarify, performance athletes = dancers?
Thanks, Snig!
For 99 cents I'll give it a shot, but the website is pretty dysfunctional. Paypal goes to a nice SOAP error message, and it doesn't seem to like my credit card if I'm using FireFox (IE works, I heart the "IE Tab" plugin).
In answer to Machinelf, you get an email with a link to download the PDF (obvious) and the MP3 (you have to hunt for it, and you have to right-click and save it).
Yeah, they could definitely do with a dose of usability. I hope the flood of 99 cent orders motivates them to get a real web designer.
You're right, they do that too, but hotmail stuck mine in the junk drawer, so check there if you didn't get the email in your inbox.
"Sorry, your order failed!" (x2)
Cory,
Are you sure this is an Anti-stress website?
-- MrJM
I took the plunge, and received the SOAP error I requested. Thanks, I feel better already!
Seriously, though, it may only be ninety-nine cents, but once they have that CC number... and judging by the quality of the site... I'd rather deal with the stress.
Until Paypal ordering is ironed out at least ;)
Boing Boing is doing infomercials now?
PLEASE DON'T PURCHASE THROUGH THE SITE. They don't use a SECURE connection when transmitting your credit card information.
You'd be better off getting on a bull-horn and reading your credit card information out loud in a crowded place.
Just lookin' out for the general public ...
Is this along the lines of Brian Eno's "Music for Airports"?
That site stressed me out. These Life Coaches, Consultants, Mentors are creeping me out. I prefer Shrinks, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, Therapists and Pharmacists. I don't trust anyone in a suit. Lab Coats are OK.
My relaxation/focus audio is Bloodbath at ~98 decibels, stereophonic.

The PayPal is now working and we are working on the SSL it should be done by tomorrow.
you guys are hilarious. i love you all.
