I have never seen any clothing modeled by a live unisex. I do not think that a unisex model would be very effective in inducing me to buy a particular item of clothing.
Don't blame advertising for gender assignment. Teach your kids to develop their own style. And how to box.

Who cares who's wearing what? I kinda thought the point of this was the hoodie itself, rather than über-PC deconstruction of who should and shouldn't be modelling a *children's hoodie*. Hey! If you go to the http://www.mouthman.com website and click on the "show us your mouthman" link on the left you can see actual real life kids wearing these!! Apparently they have been the biggest hit at the local CA art festivals and faires all summer!! AND---check out all the other cool designs..there is a tiger (sooo cool!) and really cute frog and puppy and others! Even Simpsons shirts, where the arms crossed together actually form a word or saying.. I have a feeling this is just the beginning for these guys...these shirts are just so clever!! I see high school and college football stadiums full of fans doing the "chomp!" I just ordered two!

Yes Brainspore, I am so with you. I'm also personally upset that they did not show a mixed race child wearing one. I know generally their lives are all messed up because of their parents, but we can't hold that against them.
Sorry---if shilling is rooting for these guys because I saw them at a faire and was impressed with thier product, then I apologize. I saw them at the Kidsfaire in Pleasanton Ca, but didnt have the money to buy right then. I took a flyer and my hubby FB friended them...saw the link to this blog there.
