Yves Béhar's seven-hour vibrator
Yves Béhar (who is in an epic struggle with Marc Newson to claim the title of "sexiest industrial designer alive") designed this vibrator. It looks like a Miyazaki cartoon creature. MJ's funeral cost a mil
Michael Jackson's funeral cost one million dollars. His final outfit cost $35,000, and the flowers cost $16,000. Lord. Obviously I'm no MJ anyhow, but when I die, if there's a mil lying around? Feel free to bury me in nekkid dirt and use the rest to feed pie to starving kids.... More.

I agree, very effective, and very easy. I can imagine strawberries working well in there :)
Now THAT's something even I (toolklutz that I am) could make, and would find delightful. Maybe in the spring I'll do it and see what grows well there.
My wife made one in our back yard and grew assorted ornamental peppers in it. She ended up with a very cool fountain effect.
These are great- they make an awesome small-space herb garden, too, if you can remember to water them often enough.
I have a smallish community garden plot that could definitely use one of these, for herbs and the like. Looks easy and inexpensive to build, thanks.
Strawberries work well in these planters! http://howidiy.com/entry/view/152/Wobbly-Planter
You can find out more about building your own planter tower here.
The back of my gardener-brain worries that having the pots sitting at an angle will leave a "dead space" below the drain hole that doesn't drain, leading to root rot and other foul, soggy nastiness.
But, given that other people seem to be using these quite successfully, I suppose I should stop worrying.
Right?
just knock a new hole! or drill, i guess.
but yeah, a point. not hard to work around though, i imagine.
Oh man this looks so cool and easy! I'm definitely gonna do this for a tower of herbs.
ah for a moment there i thought this guy might have been involved:

My thoughts on this is that clay pots are porous and breath, you shouldn't have to worry if I'm right.
This towering planter is simple to make and is an eye-catching addition to any patio or garden. The only problem is that its height could make it unstable and susceptible to tipping over.
