Guitar-shaped spatula

Flippperrererere Our pals at GAMA-GO created this unusual spatula in the shape of a guitar. I wish all my kitchen utensils were this random. It's available in red or black for $9.50.

Matching guitar-shaped cutting board here!

I'm guessing its shape was the result of design choice as opposed to randomness. It is cute, though.

@THE R KELLY, I think you're probably right. I meant "random," as in totally odd, curious, out-of-context, etc.

One of the many fine products you can obtain at SPATULA CITY...

They'll be hearing from Fender guitars very soon.

might this be a reference to the japanese pop band flipper's guitar?

The shape is clearly not a Fender.

@ #5

This is what a Fenderâ„¢ guitar looks like.

Note the trademark asymmetry, longer body, shorter neck, and overall extremely different dimensions.

Next time take the 5 seconds to do a Google search before being a smart-ass.

Fender only have the headstock trademaked anyway, not that they'd even be able to make any sort of claim of infringment with this at all.

I've got the song "Spatula City" in my head to the tune of "Suffragette City" now...

This goes perfectly with my spatula-shaped guitar.

@David:

Sorry. It's just that the youth of today (with which I am rapidly becoming out of touch) are, in my opinion, overusing the word 'random' to mean anything odd or slightly unexpected--rather than actually random. And for some reason, this bothers me. Probably because true randomness is becoming diluted as a concept, and it is an important concept.

Sorry to quibble on the internet.

It's hard to say what kind of guitar this is. It looks like it might have a Fender style headstock, but the body shape is not Fender, at least none that I know of.

Paul Reed Smith and some others do that rounded SG look double cut away. Perhaps it's a custom shop hybrid, PRS body with a 57 Strat neck bolted on. With a bizarre SSH pup arrangement (see red pic on website).

Overanalysis rules.

@the r kelly, that's how I feel about "cool." That word should *only* be used for discussions of temperature. /sarcasm

Only part of the spatula that looks Fender is the headstock. And that's what Fender has trademarked.

@the r kelly: Usage trumps definition, at the end of the day. Quibble all you want, but pretty soon - surprised it's not already - it'll probably have another dictionary definition. And then what's the correct definition?

You can quibble about which dictionary it may or may not be in, but inevitably you'll just be wrong, except for when talking about in my day...

I'd be far happier with a pizza peel in the shape of a guitar. How excellent would it be to rock out with your peel after baking the perfect margherita?

Considering it's named The Flipper, I assume this is a turner and not a spatula. A spatula is not a turner.
