I always celebrate when a new Terry Pratchett novel hits the stands -- doubly so now that health problems are slowing him down from his normal superhuman output to a merely impressive one. WOW!
This statue looks alot like Michael Jackson, and is it really 3000 years old? Well people saw a star like Michael in the future. Love yew Michael.
More proof that Michael Jackson is an Alien! T
I'm thinking a plastic version, with a hinged "ventriloquist dummy" jaw and audio sensor that sings along to the vocals of Micheal Jackson hits.
Greatest X-mas gift of 2009. Please send me a check for 15% Gross.
Not an alien. Michael Jackson is an immortal being, like a Highlander. He simply changes identities periodically.
So sick , I have heard enough about that weirdo!
c'mon now. isn't enough enough already?
You're not really a pop culture figurehead unless there are sightings of you after you're dead.
FWIW: IANAMJF but, I was at the King Tut Exhibit at the DeYoung Museum in SF last Saturday. There were two specific pieces that looked A LOT like MJ. Creeped me out. I don't think it's too much to think that he used some of these works as "models" for his plastic surgeon to work towards?
to me the egyptciens favored and admirred the same facial features the the western society does, fine nose, wide moulth and big eyes. Michael Jackson was an umbalanced person, but I am sure he took that as an example for his plastic goal.
Ya know maybe this was the inspiration for the look he was trying to achieve.
Mere mortals take a pic from a magazine to their hairstylist so they can copy a certain style. Maybe Jackson decided he wanted to look like a 3,000+ prince?
This just proves that the ancient Egyptians had cosmetic surgery, though how much of it they did *before* death would be interesting to know.
How come no one has invented that time-TV yet?
The second one; here's the first http://www.cbsnews.com/blogs/2009/06/04/politics/politicalhotsheet/entry5062724.shtml
It must be the end of days ;)
Well, at least this explains the close friendship between MJ and Elizabeth Taylor.
It's obvious that Michael Jackson must be a Goa'uld.
Guys, Michael Jackson and Uri Geller have spent the past 29 years developing a time machine. Here he is in 1974 at the Foreman Ali fight:

Banksy?
What Phikus said!
Michael appears to have a glass eye.
I feel like this isn't the only example of this. Isn't there an ancient stone statue somewhere (perhaps of an Egyptian pharaoh?) that bears a similar and equally eerie similarity to Charlie Parker? I can't find a picture ANYWHERE but I know I've seen it...does such a statue (or bust, maybe) ring a bell with anyone?
Uhm, yeah this looks like michael
BUT.
Michael doesn't naturally look like that
He did have plastic surgery
so...
it seriously look like 3000 year old statue
Has anyone thought that Michael saw this statue and had his face made to resemble it?
Collect the set.

Michael had African ancestory, Egypt is also in Africa.
So, the best bet is the woman in that statue is Michael's great-great-great....grandma, or simply his ancestor.
Does anyone here think that MJ made himself to look like the artifact? I do.
Kind of looks like Latoya Jackson as well.
wow!
Jackson was never "bad", he was just a pussy.
Egyptians worshiped pussies.
He obviously modelled himself on the statue as he looks nothing like that naturally
Do you remember the tiiiiiiiiiiiime? when we fell in love? ch'yeah. DAH.
To agree w/ #9 -
There are definitely some other lookalikes in the King Tut Exhibit travelling around. Freaked me out.
This really DOES look like Michael Jackson!! Wow, cool stuff.
RIP Michael Jackson!!!
Really looks like him! It's a little bit funny, but I think Michael would laugh about it too..:)
RIP Michael!I love you!
I recognize that nose anywhere... its michael!
PONDER THIS! Was Michael Jackson reincarnated from many eons ago? Did he exist as an Egyptian Pharoah? If so will Michael Jackson return back to the world some day?
Shamone!!
"Spit and image" Fixed that for you.
This is further evidence that Michael Jackson is a time traveller. Remember the appearance of him in that Muhammed Al video?
http://www.boingboing.net/2009/04/17/michael-jackson-face.html
He isn't dead, he has merely chronoported to Atlantis!
wow it really looks like him king of pop cool!
honestly I think that Michael Jackson simply modelled himself after this statue with all the plastic surgeries he's had, that was likely his intent, NOT the other way around
RIP Michael Jackson.... the undisputed King of Pop!
wow!
Yes, It does You know.
I wouldnt be suprised if he was reincarnated I mean we cant be the only People who experienced something so amazing.
Hmmmm...
If it looked like him in the thriller, billie jean, Beat it Ages I might believe it more ;')
It may be that Michael loved the statue so much he wanted to look similar after he was diagnosed? Remember now, he looked way different when he was younger.
YOu never know probably Micheal jackson saw this image before he got his plastic surgery done, he would have wanted to look like this for some reason
He's back!
He didnt see the statue, according to the staff of the museum.... But i think michael looks like the statue because of the eyes , which is not strange because he did have african ancestors and egypt is a country in africa.... peace !
these are so crazy?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
