Xeni, I see your laser portraits and raise you a Gunz Don't Kill People Lazers Do! Wacky video for "Hold the Line" directed by Ferry Gouw. (Maybe some NSFW language; hard to tell. Via Submarine Channel.)

After 10 sec. I kept waiting for the small guy with the coconuts to appear behind the "dreadlocks in the wind" guerillero !

I like the re-purposed Cobra tank and GI-Joe jeep, nicely done.

Wow, with this and the Dead Weather, today has been the best day for music introduced to me through BoingBoing since Klaus Nomi

Major Lazer is a great project. A really fun album, I would definitely recommend. It's a production collaboration between Diplo and Switch (hence the Santigold appearance in this track).

The inital single from this album was "Zumbi", featuring Andy Milonakis (yes, THAT Andy). Goofy, hilarious if you're familiar with dancehall, but easily deemed "weird". If you're googling Major Lazer and come across that, don't be weirded out. It's not a joke album, just a cheeky track.

it's santogold... not 'santigold' lol

It's an easy mistake to make though, since santogold's album is called "santigold"

Actually, apparently it's "Santigold," changed from "Santogold" earlier this year. I think there was a legal issue involved ...

Confusing, amazon sells the CD as "Santigold" by "Santogold", but the MP3 album as "Santogold" by "Santigold"! Maybe she's just trying to mess with our heads...
