Fun times for the Bicycle Film Festival

Sure, it's a tad Bat for Lashes, but who's keeping track? This delightful promo spot for the Bicycle Film Festival, a "celebration of bicycles through film, art, and music" underway in Minneapolis as of today through July 12, was brought to you by this isn't happiness, one of my favorite blogs.

Checked out the "this isn't happiness" site. Saw their sweet riff on Life magazine The understated headline for the picture of a woman on a phone: Twitter Sucks. Petesky please. Petesky? Pretty much made my day. So now I have yet another site to check out frequently instead of getting actual work done. Thanks. I think.

The Keirin movie looks great, but since I'm not involved in fixie subculture there is not a lot here for me at the "bicycle" film festival. Note that while this is going on, there remains no place in SF to watch the Tour de France.

Man, I'm surprised I didn't hear about this sooner. The papers in the Twin Cities haven't really pushed this at all. Thanks for posting, I hope to check this out this weekend!

I went to one of their programs in NYC already.
Pretty excellent documentary that I watched about Pedi-Cabs cap in NYC called "Third Wheel"

last years festival actually had that Bat for Lashes video as a submission. maybe the new promo is a tip to that video.
