Art and Motion of The Beatles
Can't actually watch the video now, but the still on the red rabbit preview still makes it look a little more erm.. 'interesting' than it probably is in reality.
How shall I put this?
...
Is that man dry-humping the rabbits head?
Red Rabbit is remarkable mainly in that it manages to be very surreal and utterly predictable at the same time. I don't think I'll be recommending it to anyone.
Red Rabbit is incredibly visually appealing, yet what it boasts in aesthetics hardly compensates for its dry plot. Pity. I wanted it to be spectacular :(
Red Rabbit has an interesting moral about shared problems, but I found the pace too slow. Also I didn't like the look of the rabbit.
Red Rabbit is a great video that will enjoy. That is, unless you are one of the heartless serious types. Watch it to the end, dummies.
Boing. Boing. Boing. Boing ...
Clearly, the rabbit symbolizes the man's repressed fertility impulses. He is unable to engage with the female because society has taught him to be ashamed of his secret nature, but in the end he finds the woman has her own furry animal.
Very lovely, but modern CGI tools have things such as "fur shaders". Update your software and try again ;-)
I think they could have shortened it significantly. The dream sequences weren't needed at all.
But it was kind of neat. I won't demand my 8 minutes back.
Does this mean that it's OK for me to have a giant hedgehog in my den? Just asking...
Incredible character animation
Incredible sense of space and size
Dead on sound.
People are so used to seeing stuff that is slick that they don't even realize how hard it is to do.
And the pacing worked for me. It was gentle, and allowed me the time to notice things...
Thanks, creator.
BoingBoing doesn't practice it's own advise: Why URL shorteners suck.
If it's a Twitter issue, isn't it possible to install some script on the web server that unshortens the url's and creates a regular html link?
Or give the submitters some form instead of using Twitter?
Holy crap, that's the best Between two Ferns yet.
