Silly PSA features bear shaving

A girl discovers an overheated bear in the forest. She helps him by shaving his fur in hard-to-reach places. Says Japan Probe: "This commercial is apparently an advertisement showing how Nisshinbo cares about global warming and the environment."

One cool thing is they used the right music.

I remember singing this song, decades ago in summer camp, on the bus. The lyrics are, indeed: "the other day... I met a bear..."

No, don't shave the bears!!! Don't you know that a shaved bear can pass as human? Their fur is the only thing keeping them from infiltrating every aspect of our society and taking over. I suspect this commercial was really produced by a secret bear cabal operating out of Japan, intent on cornering the world's honey supply.
