Gama-Go's Greg Long says:
Dave Cooper's one of my most favorite artists ever. He just did this unbelievably awesome video for one of my most favorite bands ever, Danko Jones. Check it and be thrilled.

Love. It.
Dave Cooper did our roller derby poster for the first game this season - it was a massive hit and we ended up using it for the second game it was so popular!
Check it out
If you haven't seen it, be sure to check out his fantastic kid's book, Bagel's Lucky Hat.
It's page after page of mind-bendingly good times for all ages!

Remarkably, that was less disturbing than a lot of Dave Cooper's work. Still, excellent video!
Strongly reminds me of Spümcø's work, particular the video for Björk's "I Miss You" -- so much so that I had to look up Dave Cooper on Wikipedia to make see if he worked for them. Guess not.
That was John K. (The guy who did Ren & Stimpy.)
(John K has been mentioned on BoingBoing several times as well.)
yah that was a crazy video. Love the puke.
love Dave Cooper, like no other
but that music is just canned paint by number fluff
That was a great movie. I don't believe for a minute that it was made for the purposes of that song... maybe re-timed to it, so the song would pay the bill for it!
That tune rocks. Gotta check that band out some more...
Thanks a skadillion for the link, i_prefer_yeti! I knew that Cooper had done children's work under another name, but didn't know what it was. (For people that are unfamiliar with Cooper's work, he also did some of the initial design work on Futurama--he did an early design for Bender before that character was "Groeningized", and also the Planet Express HQ, among others.)
This video was animated entirely by the amazing Nick Cross!
Video is awesome, and I love the tune. After doing some research, though, looks like the only way I can get the CD is by ordering through one of Danko's merch sites and waiting 2 weeks. What gives?! I want to pay for this music, but I don't want to wait that long. Why aren't all bands making their music available for download legally? And bands wonder why people fileshare...
Nick Cross's "Waif of Persephone" is a great film too. Very talented fellow.
