thank yallz for doing this! i live in one of the best places in the world for my bridge-loving ilk: a loft overlooking the willamette river bridges in portland. the coolest thing about our bridges is that almost all of them lift, spin, or raise up drawbridge style. the second coolest thing about our bridges is that they are so old, and still function. next year the hawthorne bridge turns 100, and the city and county are letting me plan a festival on the bridges, wherein we take them over and produce large scale kinetic and A/V artwork, transforming the bridges into a canvas for music, art, and performance. just had a meeting with the engineering authorities and got the green light!

any pdx peeps out there? holla. we need a website like last week.

If you're going to pay homage to bridges, you're going to need a theme:
MC Frontalot, "Floating Bridge".
