Robert Anton Wilson is back! On the web, anyway. Congratulations to his crew for getting the new RAW website together even though Bob is no longer around to give his inimitable positive reinforcement. Maybe that's as much his legacy as anything.

Thanks for linking to this -- truly a wonderful thing!

I've always appreciated RAW as a writer and thinker. But I saw him speak once (at the opening of Maybe Logic, for which I just happened to be in Santa Cruz), and I have to admit how good he seemed too, as a person.

Truly a balanced person who added something of value to the universe...

Since Jerry Falwell was rude enough to die four months afterwards before proper arrangements could be made (typical fundie) to honour RAW's last wishes, it behooves us to select a spiritual successor for Falwell as well as stand-in ashes. I'm leaning towards Robertson. Is it still alive? At least as much as the Undead can be anyway?

After Bob died the first time, I felt kinda bad that I hadn't been in touch with him for awhile. But then, once he then-again woke, he discovered email and led a lively discussion group for several more years.

Now he's decided to be dead again for awhile, so it's really nice to have this website. Thanks to Rasa and the whole team. May the lasagne continue to fly.

I miss Ol' Bob. I'm actually collecting everything he wrote, recorded, etc. and re-reading/reading it all. Currently re-reading Illuminatus! for the third time. I first read it when I was 17. It operationally fucked my mind.

I'm going to be doing the Residency at Unit One, UIUC, next school year and am putting together a class on RAW. Can't wait to OM a new generation.
