Lollipop multi-channel YouTube video

Courtney Woolsey's multichannel video of her singing Lollipop, by The Chordettes, is a lot of fun.

This made me smile.

She's such a cutie-pie! And it's such a jolly song.

multi-tracked, right? I don't think she used surround sound ;)

I've never seen a more veiled reference to man-sausage be so fascinating.

Tru-fakt: the lollipop song is the spiritual ancestor of the milkshake song. For reels, yo.

Kyoooooot!

the expressions are hilarious, and there's some actual talent there.

Not everything has to have some deep meaning -- some things are wonderful because they're silly and pointless and fun.

Maybe the best of these kinds of videos I have seen.

Finally, a justification for youtube's existence.

Go over to the Internet Archive and look for a short film called 'Multiple Sidosis'. Its a nice multi-track split screen video of a middle aged guy having a blast with all kinds of instruments. Gotta love the dedication it took to do this on analog gear.

I watched a couple of her vids. She's a consistently good singer, and as others said, completely adorable.

I'm surprised - I submitted me singing all the parts, including all the instruments, for the Yeah Yeah Yeah's MAPS and didn't get on Boing Boing. Where's the Justice! In fact, TYYYS liked it so much they put it on their myspace page AND got me into a couple of shows for free.
