I'm fairly certain that the Dodo, were it not extinct, would favor Comic Sans.

I remember finding a few crispy chicks in a nest built on a porch light. Grandma didn't realize there was a nest with eggs in there. At least the signage above is UL approved for birds.

Maybe liking Comic Sans is why the Dodo went extinct in the first place.
It appears they favor letters with counters (the white space inside a closed letter like these):

The C and c will apparently do in a bind.

@5: Particularly fonts where the counters are small relative to the rest of the letter.
Now, for bonus points, someone design the ideal bird nesting font...
I really don't like sparrows. They are an invasive species that was introduced from Europe. They've actually aided in the decline of some of our native birds...Read up on it.
