Visionary artist Paul Laffoley, whose psychotronic work is informed by fringe science, the occult, cyborganic architecture, eccentric engineering, and forgotten histories, has been awarded a Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship for Creative Arts. Congratulations, Paul! This has been a long time coming. Yes!!!

Paul is one of our greatest living artistic treasures, it is so wonderful to see him getting the recognition he truly deserves.

Congratulations Paul!

The museum I work at exhibited him in a show a few years ago, his work is even better in person when you can get a sense of the scale he works in. Congrats Paul!

Laffolley's work reminds me of another visionary that came before him, Walter Russell. I've always wondered if Laffolley's style was partially inspired by Russell's scientific drawings:

Most of these were completed in the 1920's.
