Videos of "stick figure aliens"

Forgetomori presents two eerie videos of "stick figure aliens." As the presenter of the first video remarks, "Could be extraterrestrials, could be elves." Take your pick.

Anyone know if there is better video of the one in Fresno?

Alien visitors/UFOs do appear to occupy exactly the same place in our culture that elves and the like did in past cultures. The fact that their appearances are similar, as are their habits of abducting humans, tends to reinforce that.

Of course more than one science fiction writer has used that observation, in various ways. But I think there's more truth to it than is usually granted -- not that either is real, but that they share the same kind of unreality.

MUFON needs something to do, why not pass the time by showing lovely videos of aliens.

It was the Fae that abducted people rather than Elves. Taken to the Fairy Realms after falling asleep in a Fairy circle or crossing them in some way.

Where's the alien supposed to be in the second video? Behind the long-necked bird that's backing away from the hiker guy? Or in his backpack?

I don't know how to say this more succinctly. "This is crap" is the best I could do.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

I have a simpler explanation. God finally forgave the snakes for the whole Eden debacle and gave them their legs back. Now they are walking upright just like before.

I call flamingo on this. Malnourished flamingo.

It's a bit misleading to even call these alien videos. Mori clearly presents his debunking theory, at least in regards to the second clip: it's a bush!

The second clip I saw some time ago. My opinion is it's clearly a blackfaced monkey with it's tail in the air walking away from us.

Take a look at this

what in the hell does "hispanic-sounding" have to do with anything?

Take a look at this

This confirms my suspicions: The aliens are among us, cleverly camouflaged like these stick insects. Walk through an average forest and there are about 150 aliens per square yard... their beady eyes are watching you and you have NO IDEA...

Probably some kind of hoax. Either the video was edited (the MUFON guy has no copy of the original, which itself looks rather grainy)or it was some kind of puppet hanging from a string. At least, it seemed to move like a puppet.

Take a look at this

The first "object" in the first clip is a lens flare. My camera flares look exactly like that.

@Nixar are you 12?
because you sound like an angry 12 year old I knew once.
Or maybe you've been endured one too probes?

Second one is part of a blade of grass in the foreground, appearing to move as the cameraperson moves.
Or, it's an alien disguised as a blade of grass in the foreground, appearing to move as the cameraperson moves. *Some mysteries will never be solved.*

As humans further encroach on the natural world we will see more elves, like foxes rummaging through dustbins at night.

I'm going to agree with Wingbatwu and Elricky..

Parallax movement of foreground foliage.

I was expecting something different form the second video after misreading that as "analization" at first glance. Stick probes?

Take a look at this

the second one is clearly yoda after going on a slimfast diet.

Why is this crappy video of crappy video? I want my aliens in HD thankyou very much.

Of all places aliens could go, they choose Fresno?

Not aliens, triffids. (Well, species of triffid.)

Why do they have to be "extraterrestrial"? IF they are real and not a hoax, then they could just as well be terrestrial, no?

The way the elf in the first example walks directly down the middle of the frame of the security camera seems a little too convenient.

The first one looks like a couple of Runner Ducks:

The second one I agree is a stick in the foreground

@ D4G33Z: Making fun of the man's accent REALLY adds a solid foundation to your argument. Funny how ethnocentrism can crop its ugly head in a thread making fun of supposedly ignorant people...go figure.

Take a look at this

How can the second one be a "blade of grass in the foreground" when the girl stands in front of it, before it moves off? And if it were caused by the camera movement, why doesn't it match the camera movement in the slightest?

About the first video and the possibility of tall thin ducks... that's as good an explanation as any. Ducks do tend to follow each other, as these two stick figures do.

Take a look at this

...though on watching again, the second duck would have to be two ducks who are walking side by side with their necks intertwined like flexible lovers.

Still, flexible ducks in love is a reasonable explanation, whereas aliens would be just silly.

Take a look at this

Yep, it's a video of a cat in Fresno moving towards the camera.

I showed this to a friend who grew up in Fresno, and he thinks it is a crane or an egret. (supposedly there are a lot of them and they are a problem if you have a pond full of fish).

I cannot wait until we start getting Alien footage on 1080p digital video cameras!

Take a look at this

I would have expected that grainy videos of alien encounters would be of higher quality these days, what with special effects software so easy to get now. Come on, people- get out there and pull off a UFO hoax WORTH watching!

The second clip I saw some time ago. My opinion is it's clearly a blackfaced monkey with it's tail in the air walking away from us.

I sort of agree, it looks sort of big for a black faced monkey to me, tho. Seems to have too much girth in the chest, but you could be right. Could be a howler monkey, too, they tend to be a bit bigger, iirc.

http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/3939/stickalienisprobablyade.jpg

I grabbed an HQ version (or as HQ as it could get anyway) from Youtube using fmt=18 and threw a strong unsharp mask on it for contrast. There's really only 1 or 2 frames throughout the whole thing where it comes into "focus", and I'm using that term loosely here.

From its girth and gait, it looks like it could be a white-tailed deer or whatever its S. American cousin would be (not sure where this was filmed). There are some white-tails in the Northern part, so Google says.

The screenshot is a bit misleading, too. There's a dark spot that looks like it could be a monkey's head, but that's not actually part of it. If I scrub 1 frame forward or backwards most of the body gets blended back into the background and you're left with what looks like the stick thing. Also, about 2-3 inches of the "tail" disappears when you scrub through making it look much more like a deer. Probably due to frame-blending or resampling. Same with the end, what looks like a tail sticking up in the air I think is just frame-blending artifacts.

You really have to throw it in a video editor, zoom in on it and scrub back and forth to see what I'm talking about. But it's pretty clear it's either a four-legged animal or a monkey on all fours. Whatever it is, I'm fairly confident it's not a stick alien. The white on the ass and belly and the way it walks makes me think deer, tho. Or a goat. But in the absence of any other evidence I'd just have to agree with NOEN on this and say it's a monkey.

First one: aren't they satisfied with the REGULAR bad photography that normally accompanies these things, that they have to take a bad video of a bad TV of a bad video, just to further obfuscate it?

And with both videos, why not just show the darn video, instead of all these wasteful life-minutes of retards waffling?

Oh wait. I'm waffling, too. Shouldn't throw stones, I guess...
