Chicken lays odd egg
This unusual egg emerged from a chicken kept at the home of Natalie Wiltshire of Willoughby, Northamptonshire, England. From Metro:
"Chicken lays bowling-pin shaped egg"'It really is quite an extraordinary shape. All I need now is another nine pins and a round one for a bowling ball and we have the complete set,' she joked.

Co-joined twin chicks inside? Assuming it was fertilized.

That one took me a second Teller. Nice.
"Only I grew this carrot...and I reckon it's grown into a very interesting shape. Eh? What d'you think, eh? Talk about a giggle, eh? I took it down to the pub and everyone was killin' 'emselves! They said I should put it in your paper!"
There are pictures of odd eggs (one w/in another & misshapen) in Rosamond Purcell's Egg and Nest. You can see a couple of the photos here (from a great show at the HMNH) - go for the embiggest version and look at the right side of the long wall. Rare, I'm sure, but not unheard of.
Nine more pins would make a set, and a bowling ball would make an omelet.
'It really is quite an extraordinary shape. All I need now is another nine pins and a round one for a bowling ball and we have the complete set,' she yolked.
*fixed
This is very odd, because about a year and a half ago I had a dream about such an egg, albeit mine was a slightly larger item...

The crazy part is gonna be when you break it open and find an identically shaped, smaller egg hidden inside.
It looks like Russian Orthodox Jesus
