Ignite Show: lightning geek culture talks
Founded by O'Reilly Media's Brady Forrest, Ignite is a terrific lightning talk event that happens at bars and clubs in more than a dozen cities. The format is that each speaker can use 20 Powerpoint slides that automatically advance after 15 seconds, bringing the whole presentation in under 5 minutes. Brady has now launched the Ignite Show, a free weekly video series featuring a different Ignite speaker each episode. The first two Ignite Shows, watchable above, feature Jason Grigsby on the history of Cup Noodle and Kati London on Botanicalls, sensors that enable plants to tell you how they're feeling. Ignite Show
