Literal video version of White Wedding by Billy Idol
I love these literal versions of 80s music videos. Here's one for Billy Idol's "White Wedding."
UPDATE: I like the literal version of the Red Hot Chili Pepper's "Under the Bridge" even more. (Thanks, Antinous!)

Hmm, White Wedding was the coolest at the time, even though the ballet in the kitchen thing never did seem to work. When Billy crashed the bike through the church window, he was officially labeled "Satanist" by my Dad, which made it all the more covetous to me.
These guys need to go after Asia videos, or maybe Kajagoogoo.
PIROUTTE!
I think they should do Clash City Rockers-- the video where Joe Strummer just thrums with intensity in front of the band for the whole of the song.
"I'm fucking playing a song in front of my band. Mick Jones also looks... really intense! Fucking playing the shit out this song in front of the band, I'm Joe Strummer I'm... really intense!"
I wonder if somebody did this for Tom Petty's Last Dance with Mary Jane...
Red Hot Chili Peppers' Under The Bridge
"Standin by Candles"!!
Pure genius: "There is something wrong with this room!" closely mirroring the actual lyrics!
This one's my favorite:

Of course, I am a self-professed They Might Be Giants fanatic...
... with descriptive video and closed-captioning.
There is an alright version of Rick Roll, (once you get to the singing around 0:19, before that is kinda annoying)

@Lilith999 thanks for the link! that's my favorite song in the world.
it's a shame the TMBG parody's lyricist has no sense of meter. (of course, it doesn't help that the singer's rhythm is sloppy.) fitting new words to an existing rhythm is hard to do well in any case, and this song's original meter is brutal, so i salute the attempt.
the White Wedding parody is much much tighter in both departments.
PIROUEEETTTE!!!!
Nice! Its going to be tough to beat "pipe wrench fight" though!
i find these amusing but i feel like including the captions is a little over the top and tends to kill some of the humor for me.
Could you please link to my official version of Under The Bridge? http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/16e4ead1dc/under-the-bridge-literal-video-version-from-dustfilms
Instead of that stolen youutbe version. Thanks :)
