Galanter, as you well know, is the world famous French Polynesian ukulele player and yé-yé singer who hosts the program Do You Do You Scopitone.

Just watched every one of her videos. Hard not to get infatuated with many of these ukulele ladies, and I didn't even see Mareva play one. Must be some kind of uke attitude they have.

Some ambitious Maker could create an updated Scopitone. LCD panel instead of rear projection screen. DVD instead of 16mm film. Dollar coins instead of quarters.

I didn't even know she was into the ukulele meme, but over here in France she is definitely most famous for being one of the recent Miss France that are still in the limelight.
