That weapon will still do a 1d8 damage (Crit 20, x2), but also 2d20 of pure AWESOME!
It´s the perfect weapon to attack a gelatinous cube or a G.W. Bush (Same intelligence, same vulnerabilities).
too bad its not BDSM
Epic Flail?
The hell?
Amateurs. For the WoW - BDSM crossover they use a real morning star.
Heh. When I first read this, I thought the D_20 was D2O -- deuterium; heavy water.
Braaaains.
Anyone else read that as D20 fail the first time?

Outsize makes a bit more sense.
Cory, I'm assuming you mean *outsize* rather than *outside*. I'm sure these could be used outside, but my guess is that you'd prefer not to have the neighborhood watch you flailing.
Looks slightly more S&M.
I've had one of these for about a year. I'm not sure why. It's truly excellent for, uh, tenderizing my meat.
Uh, yeah. Something like that.
"You'll put your eye out." (20 for 1d20)
Yay for Occoquan merchants!
BD&DSM
Outside d20s, eh. I've always wanted weatherproof dice!
Methinks you meant outsize.
S&M? Skulls and Monsters?
That shit is _super_ hot. Damn.

I remember asking some SCA guys why nobody used a flail in their mock battles, and they told me because of the speed and accelerations involved, it was impossible to make a safe dummy flail, even for reinactor play-fighting.
So yeah, 2d20 damage potential...literally ;-)
what would a Moderator Flail have on the end of it?
This epic B&D&D flail makes me think of LARPers taking the capture of a character to extremes of literalness. Could be fun, could be illegal... Those often coincide.
I'll take two!
Giant D6 flails also.
