what is up with all these ukelele covers anyway? I utterly HATE the sound of a uke- it's like a tinny, non- resonating guitar. Terrible. I have, in all of these never heard anything that sounded GOOD. All well played, yes, but all equally suck mainly because the instrument itself simply can't sound good.

John is playing a reproduction 1890 Jose do Espirito Santo style uke made by Berkeley luthier Mike DaSilva.
