Child's "drum chair"

For what it's worth, Remo advertises their "kids drum" series as being sturdy enough to be used as children's furniture when not being pounded on ... while actually sounding pretty darned decent. My experience confirms that claim.
My son also has been known to use his Remo kids tom drum as a footstool.
Reminds me of The Tin Drum (Die Bleichtrommel). Not the best thing for a little kid at home alone with HBO in 1980.
