The 85-year-old former model remains "critically ill," her agent says. She is reportedly in a coma.Albeit years after her new life in Christianity, Page helped rock the 60s into a sexual revolution with her classic pin-up bikini and lingerie photos. Before that in 1955, she became Playboy's second ever Playmate, following Marilyn Monroe.

I second Jenniferfolly- here's hoping she's doing alright. I wonder if her condition has changed or stabilized over the weekend?
I discovered Bettie through the work of Dave Stevens, who dies at way too young an age a year or two ago. She was a real beauty, and is by all reports a wonderful human being. I wish her a swift recovery.
As a long-time Bettie Page fan I can say that I'm truly sad that she's fallen ill again. She was sick in the hospital at the beginning of the year, as well as this same time last year. I still have the address for fans who want to send her get well cards:

I have a fave framed photo of her hanging in my kitchen (because I spend a lot of time there), and a few days ago I thought in passing that she was getting on in years, and wondered when I'd hear of something like this. :-(
