And yet, the dollar right now is almost as strong as it was 4 years ago. Well, compared to the Euro and Canadian Dollar. The Yen is still holding strong.

Everyone has been mocking the US dollar so long, I think the news about it gaining upwards of 30% more value in the last month was missed.

One must, of course, deduct value for every time they have forwarded any of the funny pictures found.

Note to the Federal Bureau of Funny Business: I have an aunt who is rabid in her forwarding. She could use a comedy bailout. I might suggest a thorough inventory of her hard drive so that her equally prodigious cutesy/smarmy image count doesn't factor in to your aid package.

How about funny stories? Since one picture is worth a thousand words, each thousand-word funny story should be equivalent to one picture. Limericks and puns should be graded on a separate scale. The Nobel committe can email me for more information on my prize-winning economic thinking.
