Pie hat!
Now here's a festive holiday crochet project: a hat shaped like a scrumptious pie! They will see you in the street and they will shout, "Delicious head, delicious head, delicious head!" but you will only smile to yourself and think, "Yes, and the zombies love me too, for my brains are wrapped in a tasty layer of pie."

I would love for food themed hats to become all the rage with the hipsters. Then I could wear my tinfoil hat and claim that it is leftovers... or maybe Jiffy Pop.

I'm just in love with the fact that it's something cute and crocheted being highlighted on BB (and Neatorama) and not yet another piece of knittery. And yes, I might have to make myself my very own piehat.
I want baby-sized directions. I have two brand-new nieces just born on Tuesday, and another set of twin girls in the family coming up in January. I think that miniature cherry tart hats are just the ticket.
