Boing Boing Gadgets Astroturfed By Viral Marketer Working for Motorola
Over at Boing Boing Gadgets, our Joel has an extremely funny and acidic post up about a viral marketer who appears to be astroturfing in our comment threads on behalf of Motorola. Boing Boing Gadgets commenters respond in kind, and a comment war of wall-to-wall LOL ensues. Go read the whole thing, please: Motorola, could you please tell your viral marketer to get out of our comments? (gadgets.boingboing.net)
Oh, and hey, Joel -- I'm so glad my boss isn't like that! I'm working for Boing Boing right now, and became a huge fan of the Yeti Robot Sex blog post genre. I especially like YouTube dance remix. It's awesome!

takuan - assuming you could get someone to actually ingest their own intestines, you have one end of a tube feeding into the other end. I think you could wad them up into a tight little sphere, which would save on postage when you mail them back to Motorola.
ein klein Klein Spammer? Ja!

Motorola should attempt to buy back some goodwill by tossing a few free phones into the BB sweepstakes basket.

If they hurry, they can get in on the Krave poetry going on over in the comments.

I favor sending them an invoice for the advertising. At the standard FM rates of course. When they deny payment? Take them to small claims court. With a declaration to the judge of any award paid being donated to EFF or ACLU etc.

I work for Motorola and they are a fantastic company. I've decided that Motorola will pull an Oprah and give each and every Boing Boing reader a free Krave!
I know my fellow execs at Motorola are already reading this, so please set up a webpage where Boing Boing readers can put in their home addresses so the Kraves can be sent to them before Christmas.
Set up the URL here:
http://motorola.com/boingboingkrave/
Please do this ASAP, or I'll see to it that your asses are fired pronto. I know who you are.
There is a post about this same guy's comments over on TechCrunch: www.crunchgear.com/2008/11/26/youre-doing-it-wrong-motorola-astroturfs-just-about-everyone/
Hmmm... This guy (or bot) has been a busy, busy little bee:
krave + "m goode" - 1510 results
krave + mgoode - 520 results
krave + mgoode08 - 161 results
Total: 2191 user accounts or posts (or people posting about him in annoyance)
