Today on Offworld

tallest-tower-large.jpg

Following our successful lift off, today on Offworld we saw the community start to extend the life of 2D Boy's brilliant indie puzzler World of Goo, and saw reason to be hopeful for Microsoft's upcoming Xbox 360 karaoke game Lips, despite entering a post-Rock Band, post-SingStar environment.

We also heard good news about continued development on Citizen Siege, the darkly political game from the developers of the Oddworld series, nearly convinced David to take a Holiday In Cambodia, and found that one of the next games that could very well suck up the majority of our time could come from... Neopets?

Off topic, but I cannot access Offworld. Firefox gives me a "Can't find the server" message. Your side or my side?

I've been hearing about this game/movie for a while now, and I'm convinced that it's going to be the best thing to come out from the Oddworld developers. Anxiously awaiting...

Logging in for comments seems to be broken at Offworld. I'm logged in here and not there, and clicking "log in" after clicking on the comments link just reloads the page.

Being logged in to BB seems to mean that I'm logged in at Offworld automatically. I can't tell if that's normal or because I have admin privileges.

If you log out and try to log in directly at Offworld, does the log in link work for you?

So I think what's happening is that

1) I'm logged in at BB
2) In OW I'm not logged in
3) I click the login link, which looks like http://www.boingboing.net/profile/login?return_to=http://www.offworld.com/2008/11/blip-fest.html#comments
4) BB says I'm already logged in, so immediately bounces me back to the "return to" link.
5) I remain not logged in.

This is only happening with Firefox on Mac OS X (10.5). On Safari it shows me as being logged in from the get-go, as does FF on Windows.

How are you getting to Offworld? There's a link up top now.

Yes, I'm using that. Is no one else having this problem, using Mac and Firefox?

So far, yes. I'll keep them apprised and try to solve it.
