If you haven't played Spore then count yourself lucky - no amount of free parts can fix what is wrong with that shallow poorly structured game. The creature creator is wonderful and fun but the rest is nothing but disappointment. You don't want to play the game but you should want to play with the creator.
Agree one of the worst games I've ever played. The creature creature is nice but beyond that there is really no game play.
Maybe someday they'll add some actual gameplay.
Spore was the biggest let-down ever... and I've played Masters of Orion 3.
Look, obviously Maxis crossed a line by selling this as a cool, radically new kind of gameplay when most of it is just a hi-res rendering of the better sort of flash game. No argument there, and between that and the ridiculous DRM they deserve all the scorn we can fling at them.
But can't we all agree that Spore is worth three times the asking price purely for its penis-monster generating aspects alone? If you know of a more user-friendly, intuitive, affordable cock-creature creator I'd sure like to hear about it.
I don't care if you're a ten-year-old making his first digital wee-wee, or a seasoned ErotiCAD/CAM professional with a shelf full of Stiffy Awards. This will be the dick-monster killer app for the next decade.
