Drop-dead kick-ass steampunk jewelry

Rivkasmom, the brilliant steampunk jeweler whose work I've featured here before, has a new webstore featuring her work -- great brooches, rings, and miscellanea from a fanciful past. This is a cut above all the other pieces I've seen -- and it's a reasonably priced buy from an especially nice person, too!

Also check out http://www.theweekendstore.com/ - they have cool jewelry made from old typewriter keys, watch movements, etc.

Talk about a nice person! I made an order months and months ago and then promptly moved house, and apparently the re-direction I put on my mail wasn't QUITE enough to get her package redirected... Honestly I forgot about it until the Great Email Purge of '08 when suddenly I remembered that I'd ordered some neat steampunk stuff and never got it. I sent her an email asking if she could confirm that it was sent, fearing that I'd just lost out.

Her response was impressive! She sounded so excited to hear from me, she'd been sending me messages on etsy (which I never check - stupid hobbit that I am) and sitting on that package for a few months hoping I'd contact her. She immediately popped it into the mail to my NEW address, no charge for the extra postage or anything!

Needless to say I was VERY impressed with what a lovely person she is, and then I got to be very impressed with her workmanship!

I have a Rivaksmom brooch that is just stunning, I get compliments on it every time I wear it. I love her work!

Really cool stuff! At first I thought the picture was of a belt buckle...alas I was wrong though. I think that would look really cool as a large belt buckle.

I gave my sister Morgaine one of Grace's brooches for xmas last, it was a hit indeed!

Really pretty! I like the feminine look contrasting with the workbench stuff.
