Drawdio kit

Make has posted a video of a neat new kit from Adafruit called the Drawdio.
Drawdio is an electronic pencil that lets you make music while you draw! It's great project for beginners: An easy kit with instant gratification! Essentially, its a very simple musical synthesizer that uses the conductive properties of pencil graphite to create different sounds. The result is a fun toy that lets you draw musical instruments on any piece of paper.Shown here is a Drawdio mod called Unruly. How-to Tuesday: Drawdio meets Unruly

Time to get your crayons and your pencils!!
FF to about 1:50 for the reference.
It is worth noting that the Ada Fruit Drawdio is based on Jay Silver's work at the MIT Media Lab. http://drawdio.com/
Adult maker: 'what's your favourite thing about drawdio?'
Kid: 'that it has like shared creative commons license'
Adult maker: 'um yeah. me too.'
do i laugh or cry?
It looks nice, but this kind of posts always get to a point where you look at the list of needed materials and it goes link "All you need is bla, bla, bla... and a "Whatever" kit".
It would be nice to have a list of the components of such a kit (for example the Drawdio kit), since it might not be available everywhere as a kit, or have a different name, or for those who can't buy over the internet or don't want to order stuff overseas.
It reminds me of some old radios that could be done using a simple wood piece as base (plus other components, of course)
old radios = crystal set radios :)
(thanks wikipedia)
(for #4)

Hey Nawel. I have always put a design up with a list of the simplest possible components that are most commonly available at http://drawdio.com so that anyone can make it with parts available in even a minimally stocked electronics lab.
