Horrified B-movie victim action figures

Baron Bob sells this set of Horrified B-Movie Victims. The set features nine victims ( 2.5" - 3" tall) in "an array of horrified poses.. shock, awe, fear, and of course the female slipping in high heels." The set sells for $14.95 but the green bear doesn't seem to be included. Horrified B-Movie Victims

The people that make this set also make a set of glow-in-the-dark zombies, an "Angry Mob" complete with pitchforks and torches, and a set of paparazzi. I'm sure Archie McPhee sells them.
Whenever I see sets like this, the game designer in me wants to make up rules.
Archie McPhee's parent company probably makes them.
Guy on the left looks like he has taken a head shot, with brains and what-not splattering out.
Sadly, it's just the hand of the guy behind him.
Though if it was the former, it would be a cool accessory for a sniper themed diorama.
@2: I think you're right. I believe I did see these, either at Archie McPhee in Seattle or at a novelty shop in Brighton, bearing the Accoutrements brand.
A friend of mine had these lying around his family's beach house when I visited in the summer of 2007. I had a great time posing them and taking extreme close-up shots.

Tiny, niggling point: I wouldn't call these "action figures"; they don't have any moving parts. I would call them miniatures or models or something.
Dude on the left looks like he's pretending to be an airplane. Who runs from a monster like that? Pretty unrealistic.
These have been out for a while. I wish they also made them in a smaller scale so they could be used for that new Monsterpocalypse game.
That would be sweet.
The women on the right really have to go.
I have a set, and I got them from Archie McPhee. I made a welded sculpture (at the Crucible) and I wanted to use him as decoration for my desk. He needed people to scare, and being 12" tall, he's godzilla-sized compared to the 3" models in the set. It worked out pretty well.
These are awesome, I got them as a present from a friend last year sometime. They make perfect decorations for the area around my cat's food dish :P
These are great. My folks got me a set last year, and I can tell you right now they improve any other set of action figures by 150%. "Oh no! Run! It's Optimus Prime and a curiously small Godzilla!"
I use those same zombie figures in my Secret Life of Star Wars Toys series on Flickr! They really do work like a charm in setting up distressing photos!

Possible uses:
1) single guy form this set running from angry mob set
2) use in christmas village and have them running from Santa (hey is there a Santa- Bot from Futurama doll?)
3) This set running from the zombie set.
I have these on top of my desk at work, fleeing from a one-off 18" prototype of The Iron Giant (who has movement activated light-up eyes and moving jaws, and "eats" an array of miniatures that store in his back carapace) and a stuffed Giant Squid.

Just as I thought: Cory covered these 2 years ago:

Repeat... this was one of the very first things I ever read on BoingBoing, back when Cory covered it in 2006...
What I love is the set of dolls heads where you can style the hair and apply the make-up. I love them. One has hair that grows in 3 minutes and the other has hair that grows in 6 months. It's the crank torgue that's so funny.
I just blogged a picture of my own 'Horrified B-Movie victims', which live in my cube at work.
Yeah! Here's my take on it featuring Tiki Bar TV's Drink-bot!

Ha! I had forgotten about Cory's post from 2006. Thanks for the reminder! I'll leave mine up so as not to ruin the fun in this thread.
I have a set on my desk at work; a present from a friend. Purchased at Atomic Books in the scenic neighborhhood of Hampden [Baltimore]. Don't miss it, if you're in the area. http://www.atomicbooks.com/
i use these on bridal shower cakes. the victims are running from a bridezilla, modeled after this exceptional piece:

...What's needed is a matched set of people getting cut down in mid-flight, as if cut in two by an alien laser ray, or melted by the breath of a fire-breathing cockroach.
These have been on Archie McPhee for a long time:

Shouldn't there be a figure of a policeman emptying his revolver into the monster?
