Ha ha ha!

I don't really have much more to say than that. Nice falsetto.

I hope this is the first of a series.

That was ridiculously funny and clever. I smell a new internet meme, and I can't wait to see the spin-offs.

I wasn't that amused until the "Band montage!!"

oh hell yeah. That was good.

This is awesome - funniest thing I've seen all day!

Hilarious! The bad montage with the voice overs is going to be internet classic in two weeks.

This version also serves quite well as audio description of the original video.

Bondolo, I like the way you think. Music videos for the visually-impaired!

Awesome! One of my favorite songs, and you've gotta love the rotoscoped music video.

Man, anybody else hate the ad that pops up in this video? I tried to close it right away but the close button is so tiny I accidentally clicked it and it took me forever to figure out how to get the video playing again.

I hate this new ad model video sharing sites are trying to implement. Most annoying thing ever. Guarantees I'll never buy anything from their ads.

heee! and I always thought the final scene wall thrashing was a straight rip from Altered States.

"show this guy then cut back to these two"

That is exactly the point where I lost it and commenced ROFLMFAO. Yes, I believe we have a new meme. Time to get in on the ground floor, folks!

I'm not sure why you're calling this an "animated remake" - it's the same video it's always been. Oh, and I loved "pipe wrench fight"

This is probably my favorite music video of all time, with our without the additional narration. :)

This was very well done, enjoyed it immensely.

'This guy's gonna get an ass-full of pipe wrench'!

Well played, person who already registered PipeWrenchFight.com exactly two days ago on October 8th, 2008. Well played.

Though, you do lose 5 points for registering with GoDaddy.

I'm crying. That was fantastic. The overdubbed dialog during the chase was perfect.

My friend showed me this two days ago, and I maintain that it is the best thing I have ever seen on youtube.

After seeing how well this worked, I really, really want to see a whole series of music videos made literal. Seriously, someone needs to redo Never Gonna Give You Up in this fashion. Like, right now.

As has been noted, this is NOT any sort of a "remake", but simply changed lyrics set to the original video.

As per the submitter, the song is "Take on Me", not "Take Me On" and the band is "a-ha", not "Aha".

OMG! This is so EPIC WIN!

I hate to burst everyone's bubble, but the "handsome guy" never had his own pipe-wrench. We see the wrench being held by the antagonist as he approaches our sweaty hero, pov-style.

Hence it was not a "pipe-wrench fight" as much as a "pipe-wrench smackdown" or "Norwegian pipe-wrench Rodney King beating."

Aside from that detail, that video was all kinds of awesome, and a fitting tribute to a classic music video.

I LOL'd for real at "Band montage!".

Opps, I think we've touched a nerve. I don't want to speak for Mark, but I'm sure he meant no disrespect to the a-ha. Interesting thing I learned on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A-ha was the band and song's original name.

Anyway, I think it could have used more cowbell.

Oh man, that was so much better than the original lyrics.

On a similar vein, there is benny lava:

heh! "my loony bun is fine benny lava"! This proves all pop song lyrics everywhere are equally moronic since a real translation probably makes as much sense.

Sooooo, anyone know whatever happened to the chick from this video? Love those "where-are-they-now" stories...

Ordinarily, I would hate that an ad popped up in the middle of a very funny and entertaining video, but I read the book The Soloist, and it was very compelling, and I have to see that movie, so I'm glad to know of it.

I wonder if that video would be any good sped up with Yakety Sax played over it.
