Open Everything event in London on Nov 6

Yishay sez, "On 6 November 2008, London will host an Open Everything event, a global conversation about the art, science and spirit of ‘open’. The conversation will cover, well, everything. Qualifier: the ‘thing’ in question is built using openness, participation and self-organisation. There are people coming to talk about open technology, media, education, workplace design, philanthropy, public policy and even politics. These people want to tell you what they’re doing and find out what you’re up to. And they’d like to have lunch with you. That’s why they’re coming to Open Everything. " Open Everything London) (Thanks, Yishay!)

I hope to suggest something positive, although I realize that I may get flamed with 100 blowtorches for even making the suggestion.

YES! Lets open everything, including the comments section on BB. I understand the need to eradicate the lasciviousness that may occasionally pervade, but I think relaxing the rules, even just slightly, to foster a more open discussion about things without such strict, occasionally myopic guidelines would be a great benefit to all who read this wonderful blog. I know that the moderation policy is an ever-changing writ, so I hope that it continues to do so, to be what this article suggests...being more open.

And yes, starting with open relationships is a fantastic start!
