I find the hands disturbing.
#1: All the better for squeezing bunnies!
Buy these while you can, folks! This time next year you could trade one of these for a week of ramen noodles, or a couple of AA batteries.
Q: Does a Bunny come with Hugh?
A: No, she fakes it with Hugh, she comes with G.I. Joe.
Sophisticated Adult Humor....
He looks way too young: I failed to recognize him at first.
They can use the same mold for the hands when they do a Wayne Coyne figure.
His eyebrows are arched on the box photo, but they're horizontal on the doll.
I could see this for sale at this place.

I really can't understand the draw of these type of figurines... can someone attempt to explain it to me? Are these just (overly) expensive toys for middle-aged children?
"Are these just (overly) expensive toys for middle-aged children?"
It depends as how you market them. The toy can be sold either as an action figure or as a voodoo doll.
SARDONICBASTARD @8, Your question is actually a good one. Up until a couple years ago, I had zero interest in designer toys. But then somehow they started to really appeal to me. I don't think it's about nostalgia though, at least for me. I like how each one is a little curiosity, or objet d'art. In fact, I'm extremely particular about the ones that attract me. I only have a handful of them, compared to other people I know who have hundreds. I also tend to like ones by artists whose work in other media I also appreciate (and often can't afford). Anyway, I'm sorry I can't give you a better answer. Maybe some real designer toy enthusiasts will weigh in.
DAVID@10: I quite agree. I have a Booted Glamour Cat by Scott Musgrove, a Rabbbit by Ron English, and all of the Yellow Submarine Action figures (Peter Max, The Beatles) as well as the Hellboy figures (Mike Mignola) and I find them to be cool little curiosities to have in your environment. They make me happy just sitting there on the shelf.
That looks like it could be used as a sex toy! *ew-w-w-w-w-* a la Jake Morgendorffer
Never mind the toy, someone please explain to me the popularity of Hugh Hefner.
#9 The larger question is, "When does an object become sculptural art and stop being a simple toy?"
Often it's when the objects design exceeds its function.
But a lot of the time it's when you just dig something for the shear pleasure of its presence.
Now that is funny. But I agree, it should come with a bunny drapped over his shoulder.
