Ukulele covers of Jonathan Coulton's "Still Alive" from Portal
Check out these awesome ukulele covers of Jonathan Coulton's Still Alive, the closing song from Portal, one of the most original and genuinely witty games I've seen since Katamari Damacy. I'm especially fond of the mop-haired kid in the Cyberdog tee, and the lady below is no slouch, either, she's the Angus from AC/DC of videogame uke covers!

Wish I'd gotten video of her doing "Road Trip," her original number about Lisa Nowak. Stupid battery ran out.
Wow,what an amazing song.:)
Here's a video of Road Trip from someone else at the concert that night.
Great, great song.

While spying on our phones it looks like ATT learned that the kids these days love Still Alive

sweetafton rocks!
thanks Cory!
Here's the thing I don't get: ukulele always sounds bad. Even when played well it just always sounds bad. So why are there so many internet videos showing people playing it? I'd be embarrassed to own one.
#7: I don't know, maybe because not everybody thinks they sound bad?
Cory, Cory. UkUlele, please. Hasn't Mark taught you anything? ;-)
I know that mop-haired kid! He is delightful and his name is Tom Milsom :) You can see more of his bits and pieces here: http://www.tommilsom.com, go and have a look at his drawings and music and comedy sketches.
Aww, I was so surprised to see him here on BB :D
Sweet Afton is one of my favorite musicians. Too bad she doesn't post more.
#9,
Fixed.
It's so cool you featured Tom here. This isn't even one of his best songs. Internet Love Song probably holds that title. But it's damned good. Tom is an all around great kid. Musician, storyteller, comedian, short movie-maker, social commentator. Very talented. He deserves this kind of exposure. Thanks Cory.
sweetafton23's song My Hope is brilliant.
Cheers to BB for introducing her music to me.
