Seen above is Chuffy the mouse driving his guinea pig time machine. Look closely and you can see that the guinea pig has been augmented with clockwork in its belly. Wow, that just takes the idea of Guinea Pig to a whole new level.

Despite my deep facination with oddities though, I can't really stand the thing. Sticking gears in dead animals just doesn't really do it for me.

This may seem odd, but although I feel as if I -should- be attracted to this... all the elements are there, for example... I actually don't like the execution. Perhaps it is just the photo, but I just think that it could have been done sooo much better than that... Great concept, but doesn't quite hold up for me, in this incarnation.

I love it. It kinda reminds me of the fabulously freaky stuffed rabbit in Jan Svankmajer's demented stop-motion version of Alice in Wonderland (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIB-LnoCNBM -- the scene I'm referring to starts at about 4:55 in the clip). However, that guinea pig does kind of look like it just thawed out from a winter under a snow bank.
