It's certainly weird, which is a good thing.
Made me think: in 40 years, if I'm still alive, I'll be 86. Will people care about celebrities then , the way we care now?
@1 - Of course they will. The world's fascination with celebrities isn't a new thing. Even Roman gladiators were endorsed by local businesses, and were seen as a huge sex symbol.
I came across a 1940 "Reader's Digest" recently and looked at the articles list on the cover. Not one about a celebrity, as we know them. There were mags like "Silver Screen," etc. in those days; but celebrities weren't spilling over into mainstream publications. "Celebrity" has gone insane in the last fifty years. I just don't get it; they're like roaches, everywhere.
Oh thats curious... the video remind me of two things.... 1 he is using some strange Peruvian masks... (maybe they are from Ecuador but who knows...) A friend of mine collects them... and also a great video from the incredible Chilean Director, Javier Pañella, he did a video for the band Alamedas a while back. is worth checking it.
