@#4: It's a mathematical simulation of a spider. It's not just an animated spider sprite.

This was reasonably realistic to me at least, I am not EEEK EEEK with a spider, but I do have the creepy crawlies flow over my skin seeing this move around... and yet utterly fascinated at my reaction to it, knowing its just a computer simulation.

Odd, I'm significantly arachnophobic but I don't really mind playing around with that particular spider.

I have a peculiar obsession with flies at the moment (drawing them... not eating them, like that spider), so this is just making me squeal like a schoolgirl as I'm playing with the spider. No squeamishness here - I've always wanted a nice big spider like that of my own. Poor flies...
