Every day for the past seven years and nine months, designer Negse has been taking photographs of his hair in the morning. ("Neguse" literally bedhead in Japanese.) He started documenting his 'dos after a friend told him his hair reminded him of
Captain Tsubasa. "I like to go to sleep right after my bath, head flat against the pillow, so I have the best bedhead ever," he says. Since he started, he's only missed two days of bedhead photos—one on the day his wife went into labor, and one the next day, when his daughter was born.
His web site, Negse.com, is in Japanese, but you can see and vote on all the photos there.

Now, there is 2500 (and some) * 1/125 second he won't get back.
Funny, all though somewhat OCD-ish, idea.
When I first saw they headline I read 'behead[ing]' and I was like damn, where is he, Saudi Arabia?
Then I did a double take and read it correctly, since the sentence wasn't making sense the other way.
I also thought it said beheading, and was really wondering how that would work.
Documenting bedhead is cool, though.
That would make an interesting time lapse movie.
For those of you who are not familiar with these two classic videos, I feel that I should post them as well:

Roman Opalka has supposedly photographed himself every day since 1965 as part of his number painting project.
