CBC's Danny Michel releases tracks from new album for remix

Chris sez, "Canadian indie artist, and co-host of the CBC radio show Under The Covers, Danny Michel has made the individual tracks from his most recent album available on the web. The raw tracks are provided in a number of formats, ranging from relatively low quality MP3s, up to CD quality WAV files. I saw Danny play at the Festival Of Friends in Hamilton - previously, I had only heard his Bowie cover CD that has the most amazing version of "Young American" that I have ever heard. Danny is one of Canada's best kept secrets and qualifies as a national treasure.

I saw Danny Michel Play at the Winnipeg Folk Festival. He is exceptionally awesome, and that album is one of the best albums to come out this year.

Unless I'm totally off-base, I believe there's only one song available for remix, not the entire album.

Still, great artist and kudos to him for releasing these files. I saw him at the West End Cultural Centre and was amazed. It's really wild seing him do live looping.
